The UNCG men's and women's cross country teams participated in the 2012 NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlotte, N.C. Friday.

UNCG senior Chelsea Sumney placed 15th overall at the 2012 NCAA Southeast Cross Country Regional, posting a personal-record time of 21.00.91 in the 6,000-meter race Friday at McAlpine Park in Charlotte.
